Our Ideology:
As European Egalitarians we stand for equality within the European Union, but also outside of it. This is why we promote equality in all aspects of life, such as: political, legal, racial, gender and opportunities.
About Us
Education and science:
A successful society depends on a properly functioning educational system, and this can only be achieved if all members of society can take part in it. For that reason we give everyone the chance to find and exploit their talents freely.
-
Promotion of equal opportunities for men and women of all nationalities and races in science
-
Providing subsidies for scientific research
-
Education must be accessible for everyone, but based on merit
-
A basic education will be guaranteed until the age of 18 in order to create equal opportunities for everyone. Books and all curricular activities will be taken care of by the government
-
Educational quality will be made as equal as possible across Europe
-
Scholarly articles and scientific research must be published in a common language (English) so that everyone across Europe can access the information and use it for further research
Media and culture:
Equal and fair representation for every citizen.
Media and culture shape society. In a fair and equal society we give everyone the opportunity to express their cultural background within reasonable bounds and ensure that everyone will be represented fairly in the media. But we also guarantee mutual respect between these cultures to prevent conflicts. No culture is superior over the other by definition. For this we ensure that everyone will feel they are being respected and treated accordingly.
-
Geo-blocking is to be abolished. Everyone has the right to access news and information
-
Promoting the exposure of all different cultures on TV, radio, internet and social media
-
Journalistic integrity is to be respected. Journalists are free to criticize and research everything and everyone, as long as the information is reliable
Europe:
Europe and Europeans are one. We strive for the eventual unification of all of Europe.
-
Borders within Europe are to be abolished, but the outer borders must be defended by the effort of all member states
-
Minimum-wage and working conditions are to be equal across Europe (in proportion to the country’s GDP). All citizens deserve to earn a decent living
-
Ethical inequality will be combated by exposing all citizens to different cultures through the media
